Stand up Paddle or SUP is the fastest growing recreational sport in the WORLD! MOCEAN is in love with SUP and we want to show you why.

This Summer, join us twice a week for FREE evening demo's and lessons and give SUP a try! Once your hooked, we'll help you get the right board and the right paddle to suit your ability and your desire for riding waves, paddling the ponds, participating in our SUPfitness classes or just out paddling with the family.

The Upper Cape is PERFECT for Stand Up Paddling. Warm water, inlets, ponds, Waquoit Bay...just to name a few.

Interested in renting for the day? We offer daily, 3 day and weekly rentals delivered with a smile and a mini lesson, to help you enjoy your day(s) on the water. We also provide new equipment and all the safety gear you'll need for a GREAT FIRST EXPERIENCE. We want you to love stand up paddle as much as we do.

Talk about adventure? In 1492 Columbus was crazy!

WoW! just think about it....

They thought the earth was, well, FLAT! So Christopher and his friends convince a European nation headed by a monarchy that they want to go on an EXPEDITION (read: paid sailing vacation) and find out if they can really fall off the edge. Good thing they weren't sailing down the Niagara River. Now, the bad news is, if he failed and didn't die trying, he probably would have been beheaded by the King back home (how's that for motivation?)

Anyhow, this weekend we pay homage to one of the greatest extreme adventurers of all time...pushing the natural limits known to man, battling the elements, extreme hunger, and what we would consider as difficult navigational aids at best...

So, in that spirit we celebrate Columbus Day weekend this weekend at MOCEAN, bringing you all the great gear from THE NORTH FACE and more, you know, all the stuff Christopher Columbus wished that he had...

Hello Summer? Can you come back? We didn't get to say good-bye.

Crazy Summer. But aren't they all? They say if March goes in like a lion, it goes out like a lamb. We saw June come in like a sponge and go out like a soggy sneaker! July had it's moments, and then AUGUST...Summer had finally arrived! But as summer arrived all the help was off to college so, unfortunately, NO TIME TO PLAY....almost. We took the MOCEAN crew to the Vineyard for a day to play on the beach, we took home a group of lobstah! Sunburn...OUCH! And don't forget Donovan Frankenreiter at the beachcomber...what a night, I think :) Hurricane Bill brought us some GREAT waves for a few days!

So, now it is the first FULL DAY OF AUTUMN! The weather man dropped the F Bomb last night. He said FROST! So today we are reviewing orders and get stuff out the door and ready for fall! Be sure to check out EVERYTHING new at MOCEAN. It's going to start changing every day. Cozy fleece from The North Face has arrived for women and kids, just the kind of thing you want to curl up in with a cup o' joe and think fall-ish thoughts.
